Roku didn't let me change my DNS settings, but I found the perfect workaround
My Roku ignored manual DNS edits, so I redirected settings at the router and watched ads vanish from the home screen.
My Roku Streaming Stick Plus (model 3830R) handles almost everything I throw at it. Then I tried pointing it to a different DNS server, and it stopped responding.
